Baileyport is experienced in dismantling and scrapping retired barges. 
Since we began scrapping barges, in 2003, over 700 barges and boats have been scrapped at this location.  Bailey Port Inc. has scrapped tanker barges, dredges, line towboats, dry docks, hopper barges, deck barges, rake and box barges, building barges, fuel flats, work barges, and A-frame barges.  We are located at mile 14.1 on the Tennessee River approximately 14 miles from the confluence of the Ohio and Tennessee, 60 miles from the confluence of the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers and 32 miles from the confluence of the Cumberland and Ohio Rivers.
